We don't get to mix up heath and fitness technology often, but when we get do the chance, we have to dive right in. The recent Consumers Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas gave us so much to sort through we could barely hold back, but there were some standouts in the field.

This type of memory loss occurs then a memory changes as it is remembered. Information is essentially remembered over again as you recall it, slightly changing the information. This can result in drastic changes in certain memories over time.

Memory loss in the area of blocking is caused by two memories competing with each other. This will keep memories just out of reach while providing memories from similar scenarios.

The Fiscal Cliff is caused by a combination of spending reductions and expiring tax cuts. Bush era tax cuts for businesses, home owners and middle class Americans are going to expire at the beginning of 2013. At the same time a Budgetary Act of 2011 will be reducing the cash flow of the federal government through slashing budgets.

What Does This Mean for you?

The Fiscal Cliff means, if congress cannot find a solution by 2013, our tax cuts will go away resulting in a tax hike for most Americans. With higher taxes we would expect more resources devoted to helping Americans in this tough time, but the budget cuts will be decreasing the overall contribution back to social programs. In short, the Fiscal Cliff will force us to foot a larger bill with decreased services.
